Goldie T. Phillips, 82, of Caldwell passed away at a Homedale care center on Friday, Oct. 26, with her family by her side. Goldie was born June 22, 1919, in Carthage Mo., to Oie Neal and Florence Edna Myers. She married Leon Phillips on April 10, 1937, in Neosho, Mo. During their marriage, they had six children; three sons and three girls. They were married nearly 52 years when Leon passed away. The family moved to Idaho in 1958. Goldie worked for the Boise School District for several years. She was honest, hard working and always treated others with respect and she instilled the same values in her children. She loved to sew, she and Leon would work on quilts together for hours on end. She enjoyed camping, fishing or doing anything outdoors that could be shared with her family. She enjoyed working in her yard and grew many beautiful flowers.

Goldie was preceded in death by her husband, Leon; a son, Jessie; and two daughters, Rosie and Barbara. Those left here to remember her are two sons and daughters-in-law, Sonny and Sharon Phillips of Milwaukie, Ore., and Russell and Karen Phillips of Kuna, Idaho; a daughter and son-in-law, Lora and Rick Finley of Caldwell; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
