She was born in rural Altoona, August 23, 1897, to Charles and Rose (Groshong) Wiltse. She grew up on the same farm which was her home at the time of her death and spent her entire life there, except for seven years, beginning when she was 11, when she lived with her grandparents due to the death of her father. She attended Thornburg School.
On January 02,1916, she married Walter H. Bradford in rural Altoona, and he died September 07, 1964.
Survivors are one son, Lee Bradford of rural Chanute; Four Daughters, Virginia Stone of Buffalo, Lois Erickson and Berniece Johnson, Both of Chanute, and Bonnie Ladd of Humboldt; 12 Grandchildren; 28 Great-grandchildren, and 18 Great-Great grandchildren.
Services were held February 02 at Altoona Christian Church. Rev. Cal Everson Officiated. Burial was in the Altoona Cemetery under the direction of the Gibson-Koch-Friskel Chapel, Chanute.
