Mrs. Frank Barberio, Formerly of Tupper, Dies at Herkimer
Mrs. Elizabeth Barberio, 65, of 125½ North Bellinger St., Herkimer, formerly of Tupper Lake, died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday in the Mohawk Valley General Hospital at Herkimer.
A Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at St. Francis Church in that city at 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery here, where a committal service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday.
She was born in Tupper Lake in 1910, the daughter of Frank and Marceline Tremblay Facteau, and attended the local schools. In 1931 she was married here to Patrick McMahon, who died here on Feb. 9, 1953. She had made her home in Herkimer during the past 20 years, and was married there on Dec. 21, 1961 to Frank Barberio, who survives.
Surviving also are three sisters; Mrs. Clifford (Bernadette) Belmore and Mrs. Gordon (Loretta) Clark, both of Herkimer, and Mrs. Gordon (Madeline) Soucy of Tupper Lake; and two brothers, Roy and Alfred, both of Tupper Lake.
