WHITESBORO -- Mrs. Jimmie Ruth Sloan, 86, of Whitesboro, died Sunday in a Sherman hospital.
Mrs. Sloan was born Sept. 20, 1893 in Arkansas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Z. B. McCarver. She married L. R. Sloan in 1927, who died in 1947. She worked for many years in the Security National Bank in Whitesboro and earlier at Camp Howze.
Survivors are stepson, L. R. Sloan, Jr. and sister, Ruby Spivy.
