SAVANNAH - Corine Howard entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Riverview Nursing Home of Savannah. God opened His Arms and welcomed Corine Home. Mrs. Corine Howard was born March 23, 1922. She was preceded in death by three children, Bonnie Blige, Arnold Lee "Po-Boy" Conyers and Patricia Ann Conyers.
She leaves to cherish her memories eight children, Betty Gadson, Savannah, Truman Conyers, Huntsville, TX, Frances Conyers, Miami, FL, Lawrence (Catherine) Conyers, Clyo, Bernard Conyers, Tucson, AZ, Randy (Donna) Conyers, Savannah, Barbara (John) Watson, Miami Gardens, FL, Myrtle (Daryl) Minter, Atlanta; one brother, John Burton, Brunswick; one sister, Linda Washington, Norfolk, VA, seventeen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held 5:30-6:30 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2010 at Adams Funeral Services. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2010 at New Light Baptist Church. Interment: Eastside Cemetery, Statesboro, GA.
