GONE TO GLORY

Josephine Helen French was born October 9, 1855 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Died at her home in Cestos, OK, February 6, 1925 at the age of 69.

She was united in marriage to John Harding Wright in 1874 in Davis Co. Iowa. She came to Marshall, Oklahoma with her husband and five children in 1892 and resided in this state until her death. To this union were born 9 children, 6 girls and 3 boys, 4 of which preceded her to the Great Beyond. She leaves a husband and five children, three of them being at her beside when she died. She also leaves 28 grandchildren and 15 great grand children and a host of friends to morn her loss.

The living children are Mrs Stella Sills, Mooreland, Ok, Mrs Anna Wenzler, Woodward, Ok, Henry Wright, El Reno Ok, Mrs Iola Cranston, New Sharon,Iowa and Mrs Gladys Rhodes, Los Angeles, Ca.

She became a member of the Christian Church in her early youth and was a faithful follower of her blessed Lord until he called her home.

The last services were held in the Christian Church in Cestos, Ok on February 8th at 2 o'clock. Rev Alvin March and Rev Elmer Hedges officiated. Interment was made in Riley Cemetery.
