Lawyer; Saunders County Attorney, 1895-96; director, First National Bank of Wahoo; District Judge in Nebraska 5th District, 1912-22;Justice of Nebraska State Supreme Court, 1923-37; died in office 1937. Congregationalist. Member, American Bar Association;Freemasons; Knights Templar; Order of the Eastern Star; Shriners; Knights of Pythias; Elks; Woodmen. Died August 3, 1937 (age 75 years, 82 days).
