This community was shocked to learn on Wednesday morning of the death of Miss Exie Shaver which occurred in the Lewistown Hospital. Miss Shaver had been taken there on February 23rd where she underwent an operation. She had been getting along nicely, and was on the road to recovery, when suddenly she took worse of Wednesday morning. Deceased was the second daughter of the late Peter R. Shaver of town, a staunch Presbyterian, and a lady highly esteemed in the community. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of James M. Shaver.
