Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Keith H. Gunderson, 92, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on August 10, 2012. Keith was born June 29, 1920 in Mt. Pleasant, UT to John and Rhea Gunderson. He graduated from North Sanpete High attended Utah State Agriculture College, Logan UT receiving a Chemical Engineering degree. He married Buena May Rigby May 7, 1939 in Ephriam UT. They were later sealed in 1946 for all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with 5 children; Don, Carol, Wynell, Margene and Scott. Buena preceded him in death in 1990. He married Jacqueline Cooper December 27, 1990. Keith was VP/Refining & Manager of Crude Oil for Caribou Four Corners, President of Rose Park Lions Club and a member of the Executive Committee, Utah Petroleum Assoc. Keith was an avid golfer winning many trophies and enjoyed water and snow skiing. He loved spending time with his family at their pool. He served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints including a member of the High Council and 7 years with wife Jacqueline as service missionaries in the Hunter Utah Stake.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline; children Don (Shirley), Carol (Tom) Petersen, Wynell (Garth) Hardy, Margene (Dave) Caras, Scott (Kim) and 4 step-children Shawn (Teri) Cooper, Christian (Angela) Cooper, Penny (Cranford) Blackmon, James (Kris) Cooper, 28 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Buena; 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral service will be at noon on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at the Hunter Stake Center at 3737 S 5600 W, West Valley City, UT. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at the McDougal Funeral Home at 4330 S Redwood Rd and Thursday 10:30-11:30am at the church prior to services. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to Primary Children's Hospital are encouraged.
