Mrs. J. L. Waggoner Succumbs at Denver: PERU - Mrs. Jessie L. Waggoner, 79, of Denver, died at her home at 7:15 a.m. Sunday following an illness of one month. Born at Portland, Ind. on Feb. 5, 1881, she was the daughter of William and Sarah Hardy Martin. She had been a resident of the Denver community 50 years and was a member of the Denver Baptist church. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Nellie Dice and Mrs. Louella VanDusen, both of Denver; Mrs. Esther Dickerhoff, of Deedsville; Mrs. Pearl Stuart, of Goshen; Mrs. Geanette Hotchkiss, Fresno, Calif. and Mrs. Josephine Harrison, of Campbell Calif.; and four sons, Harry Waggoner, of of Goshen; James Waggoner, of Chili and Richard and Fremont Waggoner, of Denver; twenty grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the McCain funeral home, Indiana 16 and U. S. 31, with Rev. C. F. Golden officiating. Burial will be in the Westlawn cemetery at Denver.
