Mrs. Bernhardt had served as executive director of Olney Board of Industry and Commerce from 1982-1993 and on the Olney City Council from 1977-1981. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.
Survived by three daughters - Suzanne Haney of Big Spring, Cindy Stafford of Stephenville; Nancy Duhachek of West Des Moines, IA; two brothers - Wayland Corgill of Gatesville and Wortham Corgill of Tomball; one sister, Lavaughn Lively of Sherman; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Cameron Dewayne Bernhardt.
