Mrs. Lovena Barrineau, sixty-three-year-old former resident of Manning, died last night at her home in Alcolu following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at Jo-y Funeral Home in Manning tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock with the Rev. P. O. Batson, of Alcolu, in charge. Burial will be in Spring Gully church cemetery in Georgetown county.
(Note: Spring Gulley, its proper name, is in Williamsburg, not Georgetown, County. Only one Spring Gully or Gulley Cemetery is known in SC.)
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cora Nichols, of Manning, Mrs. Mary B. Driggers, of Valdese, N. C., and Miss Annie Barrineau, of Alcolu; two sons, Eugene Barrineau of Alcolu and George Barrineau of Manning; and twenty-.... (print has faded; near the end it becomes impossible to read).
