On the same day the five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Zabelle, residing north of the Fair Grounds, died of the same cause. The little boy had had a mild case of diphtheria and was well on the road to recovery when he was stricken with paralysis of the heart. The diphtheria scare which has existed here for some two or three weeks is decreasing and the health officers claim to have the situation well in hand at the present time.
