Sudden Death
Tuesday afternoon about one o'clock, a man named Robert Zentner, aged about 45, was found lying over one of the shafts in Dobbert's tannery, dead. It seems that it was his custom to stop the engine after the men had ceased work and went to dinner and he was left alone on the day mentioned, the supposition being that he would soon follow the others. Not coming to dinner someone, we believe, a little girl - was sent after him, who found him as described. A coroner's jury was empaneled, whose verdict was that he came to his death from an apoplectic stroke. Zentner leaves a wife and three children.
