TAUS MAN IS DEATH VICTIM
Victor Zahorik, 27, Dies At His Home On Tuesday
Victor Zahorik, 27, store and tavern operator in the village of Taus, died
Tuesday morning at his home. He had been seriously ill for the past two weeks.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Taus home and at 10
a.m. from the St. Augustine’s church, Reifs Mills with interment in Evergreen
cemetery here.
The deceased, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zahorik, was born in 1906 in the
town of Franklin and always resided there. He was married nine years ago to
Miss Eleanor Naidl.
Survivors are his widow; a daughter Dolores; a son Leonard; a sister Evelyn;
and his parents.
The body was removed to the home this afternoon from the Wattawa, Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home.
