Marriage of Joseph/Marie Zahorik
Rev. MacDonald of St. Patrick's congregation of Maple Grove pronounced the solemn words that united two happy hearts in the holy bonds of matrimony Wednesday at 10:30 am, when Miss Marie Malone of Cato and Jos. Zahorik of Taus plighted the their marriage vows. Guests present pronounce the scene as one of the prettiest marriage ceremonies ever witnessed in the Maple Grove parish. The bride wore a traveling suit of white serge and a large pale blue beaver picture hat. She carried a shower bouquet of pink roses. Miss Emily Zahorik, sister of the groom who wore a tan suit and tan picture hat assisted the bride while Joseph Brennan, uncle of the bride acted as best man. After the ceremony, the happy couple repaired to the bride's home at Cato where a wedding dinner was served to the bridal party. Mr. and Mrs. Zahorik left on the afternoon train for a honeymoon trip to Milwaukee, Chicago and other points. They will be at home to friends at Brillion after Nov. 1.
