Mrs. Alex Zagrodnik, 67, of 513 S. 26th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been confined seven weeks.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate
and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Martha Zelewske was born March 17, 1892, at Manitowoc, daughter of the
late Michael and Victoria Mushel Zelewske. She was married in 1910 to Walter
Jagodinski. He died in October of 1918. In May of 1922 she was married to Alex
Zagrodnik.
Mrs. Zagrodnik is survived by the husband, five daughters, Mrs. Charles Krause,
Mrs. Charles Kaderabek, Mrs. William Chynoweth, Mrs. Marcel Tadych and Mrs. Casper
Seibel of Manitowoc; two sons, Richard Jagodinski of Tomah, Wis., and Alex
Zagrodnik Jr. of Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Tillie Gorecki and Mrs. Clara
Mueller of Manitowoc and Mrs. Adolph DeVellee of Fond du Lac; and 11 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be
recited at 8 p.m.

Miss Martha Jagodinsky and Alex Zagrodnik were married Saturday evening at the
home of the bride, 1228 South Twentieth street, Judge Forrest officiating at the
ceremony. Miss Anna Bireta (sic) and Mike Bureta were the attending people. A
reception was held at which a large number of friends were present. The couple
will make their home here.
