ALEX F. ZAGRODNIK

Alex F. Zagrodnik, Sr., 84, who resided at Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died
Saturday at the home.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Duane Dionne will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Zagrodnik was born Sept. 12, 1890, at Manitowoc, son of the late John and
Constance Krause Zagrodnik. He was a World War I veteran. He married Martha
Jagodinsky in May of 1922 at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death May 24, 1959.
He had been employed by Chicago Northwestern Railroad until his retirement in
1952.
Survivors include a son, Alex, G. Jr., of Berea, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs.
Casper (Dorothy) Seibel Jr., of Manitowoc and Mrs. Marcel (Jane) Tadych of
Fond du Lac; a step-son, Richard Jagodinsky, of Chippewa Falls; three step-
daughters, Mrs. Charles Krause, Mrs. Charles Kaderabek and Mrs. Grace
Chynoweth, of Manitowoc; two brothers, Joseph and Paul, of Manitowoc and six
grandchildren. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 o'clock this Monday
afternoon. The wake memorial service will be held there at 7 o'clock.
