MANITOWOC -
Two Manitowoc men were seriously injured Wednesday in a one-vehicle accident.
The driver, Teng Yang, 18, was flown by helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, where he was listed in critical condition on Thursday. A passenger, John Yang, 17, was admitted to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center and remains hospitalized.
The accident occurred about 6:45 p.m. on County Highway LS, just north of Silver Creek Road.
Yang was driving a 2002 Honda Civic at a high rate of speed and lost control of his vehicle on a curve, according to a sheriff's department spokesman.
The vehicle then rolled over a truck barn and came to rest on top of a parked vehicle. Both men were ejected from the vehicle, one striking the barn and the other a nearby house. Neither of them was wearing a seat belt.
The accident remains under investigation by the sheriff's department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
