Herbert Waack, 74, formerly of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Sunday at Shady Lane
Nursing Home, Manitowoc, where he had been a resident the past year.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. N.W. Kock will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Waack was born Sept. 20, 1897, in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the
late Carl and Anna Sonnenburg Waack. He farmed in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids.
Survivors include six brothers, Christ and Carl, of Manitowoc, Edwin, Arvin,
Walter and Clarence of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Luebke and
Mrs. Adela Raddloff, of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Alfred Waack, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc.
Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 5 p.m.
Tuesday until noon Wednesday and then at the church until the time of service.
