LOUIS VRANEY

Louis Vraney, 74, of 840 North Sixth street, died of a heart attack
on a neighbor's doorstep while out for a walk this afternoon. Miss
Julia Kelley of 841 Lincoln boulevard found the retired painter on
her back steps and called police who found him dead when they arrived.
Mr. Vraney was pronounced dead by Coroner Theodore Teitgen who announced
there would be no inquest.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Funeral services for Louis Vraney, 74, who died yesterday afternoon
will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home,
the Rev. C.H. Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Born in Kossuth in 1872, Mr. Vraney at the age of 18, moved to Sheboygan
where he learned the painting trade. He then moved to Manitowoc where he
had worked as a painting contractor until his retirement four years ago.
He was a member of the Manitowoc aerie of Eagles. In 18?? he married
Josephine Seidl of Manitowoc.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Carl Kotche; one son, Alvin;
and one brother, Frank, all of Manitowoc.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Wednesday until
time of services.
