In this village on the 8 inst., after a long and painful sickness, Mr. Joseph
Turpin, aged 55 years.

In Probate.- State of Wisconsin, Manitowoc County, ss.
In the matter of the estate of Joseph Turpin, deceased.
ON reading and filing the petition of Mrs. Emma Turpin, of the town of Manitowoc
in the county of Manitowoc and State of Wisconsin, representing among other
things, that the said Joseph Turpin died intestate on the 8th of January 1865,
and praying that B.R. Anderson, of said village be appointed administrator of
the estate of said intestate. It is ordered, that said application be heard
before me, at my office, in the village of Manitowoc, on the 27th day of February,
A.D. 1865, at 10 o'clock A.M. And it is further ordered, that notice of said
application and hearing be given by publishing a copy of this order for three
successive weeks, once in each week, in the Manitowoc Pilot a newspaper printed
in said county, prior to said hearing.
