Mrs. Arthur Truttschel, 68, of 1608 Washington St., Manitowoc, died Thursday
afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient since
Monday.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
with the Rev. Donald T. Stannard officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Matilda (sic) Schmalfeld June 1, 1893, at Manitowoc, daughter of
the late Louis and Atellia Chakoski Schmalfeld. She attended public schools at
Manitowoc and in 1915 was married to Arthur Truttscshel at Manitowoc. She was
a member of Manitowoc Eastern Star, the United Commercial Travelers auxiliary
and Wesley Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Reuben Voigt of Manitowoc; two sons,
Paul of Appleton and Bert of Manitowoc and a sister, Mrs. Glen Brandt of
Manitowoc; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A sister preceded
her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home. Memorials are being accepted.
