MRS. C. TETZLAFF, 93, PASSES AWAY AT DAUGHTER'S HOME
Mrs. Caroline Tetzlaff, 93, who made her home with her daughter Mrs. John Krumm,
1123 South 13th street, for the past 25 years, passed away last night, death due
to infirmities of old age.
The deceased was born in Germany in 1836 and spent her early life there and was
married there to Daniel Tetzlaff. Following her husbands death she came to this
country with her children. The family first settled at Reedsville and several
years later moved to this city, where the deceased spent the remainder of her
life with her daughter.
A daughter, Mrs, John Krumm, two sons, William of Collins, and Paul of Milwaukee,
several grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be held at the Wattawa-Urbanek
chapel on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. Otto Menke officiating. Burial
will take place at the Evergreen cemetery. The remains may be viewed at the chapel
this evening and Wednesday.
