MRS. H. TETEAK TAKEN BY DEATH AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. Henry Teteak, nee Marek, aged 39, passed away at the Holy Family hospital
early this morning, death following an operation which she underwent there
three weeks ago. In good health up until the time of the operation, Mrs. Teteak
failed to rally and her strength gradually weakened. News of her passing comes
as a shock to a large circle of city and county friends.
Funeral services will be held from the home of her brother, Joseph Marek, at 712
North Fifth street, Wednesday afternoon at two. The Western Bohemian Fraternal
society of which she was a member, will conduct services.
Mrs. Teteak was born in Cooperstown, June 29, 1888, and made her home there up
until eighteen years ago when she removed to this city. Three years later, on
November 29, 1911, she was married to Henry Teteak, and they have since resided
here.
One son, Harry, aged 6, survives, with the husband. Two brothers, Joseph of this
city and Walter of Cooperstown, her mother, Mrs. Helen Marek of Cooperstown, and
a sister, Mrs. Anna Soukop of Melnik, also remain.
The body will lie in state at the Wattawa chapel until Wednesday morning.
