Fall is Fatal To George Teche, 69
A skull fracture suffered when he fell down the cellar steps at his home,
resulted in the instant death of George Teche, 69, 1813 12th Street, Two
Rivers, shortly after 6 o'clock last evening, Coroner Theodore Teitgen
said today.

Coroner Teitgen said that apparently Teche had tripped when he was descending
the stairs and fell headlong, striking his head against the cement of the
basement floor.
The coroner said that there would be no inquest into the death.
Funeral Thursday
Mr. Teche moved to Two Rivers with his family in 1919, and up until about three
years ago he had been employed at the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing co. there.
In recent years, he had worked as a trucker for the Hamilton Manufacturing co.
in Two Rivers
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark's church in Two
Rivers, the Rev. Peter Nilles(?) officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
in Manitowoc.
The body may be viewed at the Klein and Stangel Inc, funeral home in Two Rivers
from 2 p.m. Tuesday until time of services.
The rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral.
Mr. Teche was born in 1896 in Oconto, the son of Mrs. and Mrs. George Teche Sr.
His parents had come to this country from Bohemia.
Operated Farm at Mishicot
In 1902 he married Emma Wishka(?) of Kewaunee and she died in 1911. The following
year he remarried this time to Mary Blazek of Manitowoc, and his second wife (?)
1912 in Two Rivers.
For 12 years of until 1919, he had farmed at Mishicot, but in that year he moved
to Two Rivers and made his home. He is survived by two daughters, Misses Rose and
Elizabeth both at home; three sons James of Chicago, Elmer if Manitowoc, and WO
George Teche in the navy at Philadelphia; two sisters, mrs. James Konop of Coleman,
and Mrs. Joe Donias(?) of Milwaukee and one grandson.
Mr. Teche was a member of the Bohemian lodge and of the Holy Name Society of the
St. Mark's Catholic Church.
