MRS. C. SWEETING, PIONEER OF COUNTY, DIES AT HOME HERE
Mrs. Charles Sweeting, aged 72 years, passed away this morning at the family
home, 823 North Fourteenth street. The deceased, born in the town of Cato was
one of the pioneer residents of the county. With her husband she has resided
here since 1900. She was born in the town of Cato, August 20, 1858, her maiden
name being Jennie M. Morgan. She was married to Robert Sweeting January 24,
1883 and they moved to this city seventeen years later and have since resided
here.
Besides the husband, one daughter, Mrs. J. J. Robb of Mansfield, O.; one son,
Robert, R. Sweeting, of Rochester, Minn.; four brothers, John Morgan of Wausau
(sic-only 1 brother listed) and one sister, Emma A. Morgan of Cato, survive.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed but will be announced tomorrow.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Charles Sweeting will be held on Thursday
afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home, 823 North Fourteenth street. The services
will be in charge of the Rev. Phipps of the Presbyterian church and interment
will be at Evergreen.
