Wilfed Strube, 47, Manitowoc, a native of Antigo, died Friday afternoon at the
Holy Family hospital there.
He was born in Antigo Nov. 14, 1899, and lived here until he was a young man.
He went to Manitowoc 27 years ago and had lived there since. In 1929, he was
married to Isabel Croll of Manitowoc. He was employed at the Penny Store in
Manitowoc and was active for years in singing society circles there.
Surviving are his wife; two brothers, Herman and George, Antigo; and one sister,
Mrs. George Albright, Antigo.
His sister and brothers attended the funeral which was held Monday afternoon at
Manitowoc.
