Following a four months illness, Ernest Henry Strube died Sunday morning at 7 o'clock from lead poisoning caused by many years employment as a painter. His funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the house 246 Dorr Street at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. Nagel to officiate.
Mr. Strube was born at Hanover, Germany, August 31, 1859. He came to the United States in 1884 and settled in Orange City, Iowa. Later he moved to Sioux City, Iowa and nineteen years ago moved to Antigo. He was married in 1891 to Miss Mary Bartz at Sioux City.
The decesased is survived by his widow and seven children. The children are Herman, George, Martha, Ernest, Gerhard, Wilfred, Fredrick, all of Antigo.
