"Mrs. Amelia Stoker, widow of the late Peter Stoker and a resident of the county since 1851, died early today at the family home 615 York St., at the advanced age of 87 years. Death was due to her advanced age. Born in Norway, December 2, 1832 and married there in 1851 decedent with her husband came here the same year and for years resided in the town of Franklin, moving to the city in 1884 where Mr. and Mrs. Stoker engaged in the hotel business on York street. Mr. Stoker died eleven years ago. Mrs. Stoker is survived by seven children, Mrs. Margaret Kings, city (Manitowoc), Mrs. E.J. Ward of Chicago, Mrs. Charles Auman of Tacoma, Wash., Alfred, Edward and Peter of Glen Flora, Wis., and Walter of Portland, Oregon.
Thirty-three grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren also survive Mrs. Stoker. The funeral will be held Saturday after-noon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. M.S. Axtell officiating.
