Mrs. Joseph Stipek, 83, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, died unexpectedly Thursday
afternoon at home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Saur Funeral Home,
Kellnersville. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Stipek, nee Anna Havlinek, was born March 9, 1889, in the Town of
Kossuth, daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Havlovitz Havlinek. She
was married to Joseph Stipek Nov. 16, 1915. They farmed in the Town of
Kossuth.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Verna) Stelzer Sr.,
of Rt. 2, Cato; a brother, Frank, of Two Rivers; eight grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren. A brother, two sisters, and a granddaughter preceded her
in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o'clock this Friday evening until
the time of service Saturday.
