Mrs. Lucille Staeding, 77, of 672 N. Montgomery St., Port Washington, died Tuesday night at St. Agnes Hospital after undergoing surgery there.
She was born in Sheboygan on March 25, 1895, daughter of Frank Yentsch and Anne Lodle Yentsch, and was married to Herman Staeding of Milwaukee in Chicago on July 27, 1925.
They lived in Milwaukee where he was employed as a chauffeur, and two years ago moved to Port Washington.
Survivors are her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Melendy of Waukesha and Ms. George Burger of Manitowoc, and one brother, Felix Yentsch of Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington, with the Rev. Phillip Schowalter of Frieden's United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
