FRED L. SCHWARZENBART (d. 1962)

Fred L. Schwarzenbart, 63, of 1614 S. 13th St., Manitowoc, died early Friday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, with the Rev. Paul H. Running officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 11, 1898, at Ripon, son of the late Fred and Emma Schmitt
Schwarzenbart. He came to Manitowoc as a boy and attended Manitowoc Public
Schools. He was a graduate of the old West Side High School in 1916. He was
a veteran of World War I, serving as a private in the United States Army.
He married Lillian R. Mally Sept. 5, 1922, at Manitowoc. Prior to his semi-
retirement in 1954 he owned and operated the Manitowoc Bottling Works for
30 years. He was a member of Drews-Bleser American Legion Post 88 and a
member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Among survivors are his wife, two sons, Frederick and Donald of Manitowoc;
two daughters, Mrs. William Price of Lancaster, Calif., and Miss Anne of
Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Rudolph Giemer of Cooperstown and nine grand-
children. A son, William, preceded him in death in 1947.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Graveside military
rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post.
