MINNIE RULSEH

Mrs. John Rulseh, 80, residing with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
John Ohlsen, of 310 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning at Memorial
Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. Rev. Edmund Olson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Minnie Post was born July 18, 1888, in Germany, daughter of the late
Herman and Minnie Schubring Post. She came to the United States when she was
two years old and in 1907 she was married to Elmer Ohlsen. She was married to
John Rulseh May 15, 1942, at Manitowoc. She was a member of the G.U.G. No. 13
and the Golden Agers
Survivors in addition to her son John include a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Arlene)
Heidman, of Muskegon, Mich.; three brothers, Carl, Herbert and Roland, of
Sheboygan; a sister, Mrs. Ella Surprise, of New London; three stepsons, Richard
Rulseh, of Manitowoc, Elroy Rulseh, of Milwaukee and Roger Rulseh, of Two Rivers,
a stepdaughter, Mrs. Elmer Smith, of Manitowoc; 27 grandchildren and 28 great
grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death in February, 1959. A son, Lawrence, three
brothers and six sisters also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home this Monday evening unti the hour of service.
