Mr. Archie Reynolds, 62, of 1224 S. 11th Street, Manitowoc, died Monday morning, August 5, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Bruce McKenney will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Reynolds was born May 27, 1923, in the Township of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, son of the late Arthur and Anna Moses Reynolds. He grew up and was educated in the Township of Kossuth, living in Manitowoc all his life. Mr. Reynolds was a truck driver for 45 years and for the last 20 years worked for George Clark Transportation, retiring in 1983. He married Frieda Petersohn on June 13, 1941, at Manitowoc. He was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mr. Reynolds was a retired member of the Teamsters Union Local No. 75. He served for a short time in the United States Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Frieda; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Richard and Joanne Reynolds of Manitowoc, Robert and Melinda Reynolds of Dundee, Michigan, Russell and Christine Reynolds of Manitowoc, and Randy Reynolds of Manitowoc; two daughters and a soon-in-law, Sandra and Robert Wilke of Manitowoc and Nancy Reynolds of Manitowoc; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Violet Reynolds of Francis Creek and June Reynolds of Manitowoc; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Julia and Arthur Schmidt of Manitowoc, Ethel Porubcansky of Francis Creek and Clarence Podrabsky of Francis Creek; seven grandchildren, Brenda, Carrie, Robert Jr., Amy, Becky and Jody Reynolds and Robert Wilke Jr. and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ervin and a sister, Elsie Podrabsky.
