Bruno Carl Reinicke, age 85, formerly of Manitowoc, passed away Sept. 13, 2006,
at the Laurels of Greentree Ridge in Asheville, N.C., after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at the
Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory of Manitowoc. The Rev. Larry McCann will
officiate, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Born Feb. 10, 1921 in Chicago to Bruno Paul and Elizabeth Woelke Reinicke, he
moved back to Germany in 1928 where he later served in World War II as a Luftwaffe
pilot. He attended the University of Munich, then moved to Manitowoc where he
married Beverly Luecke in 1954. He worked for Kurth Malting, then moved to Cedar
Rapids, Iowa, and worked in corn production for 24 years before retiring to
Asheville. Bruno was very active in photography and painting exhibiting in many
shows throughout his life. He loved to travel around the world and was an avid
gardener.
Bruno is survived by his daughters: Victoria Kullen and Sarah Marshall; sons-in-
laws: Kevin Kullen and David Marshall; his sister: Johanna Schaefer; and his sister-
in-law: Gerri Reinicke. He was preceded in death by his wife: Beverly Luecke; his
son: Paul Bruno Reinicke; and his brother: Hans Reinicke.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service
at 2 p.m. at the Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 1122 South Eighth Street,
Manitowoc.

of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Manitowoc, and Robert H. and Geraldine
Reinicke of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Johanna and Claus Schaefer of
Detroit, Mich.; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded
