Saturday morning, as he sat at the breakfast table in full health, 81-year old
Christian Reichert felt a choking in his throat and before his relatives were
able to help him in any way, he fell from his chair and died. A heart attack had
brought his healthy existence to a sudden end. The deceased was a tanner by
profession who had come to America about 40 years ago and had lived in Manitowoc
for a long time. At the time of his death he was living with his son here, Henry
Reichert. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon.
