Bernice Marie Rabenhorst, age 67, of 3415 Dale Street, Manitowoc, died Thursday
afternoon, July 9, 1992, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, 1992, at Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating will the (sic) Vicar Peter Goetsch, with
burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born June 15, 1925, in Shawano, Wis., daughter of the late Erich and Olga
Lohrbach Jansen. She married Robert C. Rabenhorst, September 27, 1947 at Manitowoc,
Wis. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1970. She was employed at the Atkin Reed
Inc. of Manitowoc for 13 years until her retirement in 1990, but was still employed
on a part-time basis. Mrs. Rabenhorst was a member of the Ladies Aide of Immanuel
Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Donna Rabenhorst, Manitowoc;
a daughter, Nancy Rabenhorst, Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Joyce
Jansen, Berlin, Wis.; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and John Antonie, Two Rivers;
a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Ellen Rabenhorst, Middleton, Wis.; a
sister-in-law, Rita Jansen, Two Rivers; two step grandchildren, Amy and Becky Meyer,
Manitowoc; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was
preceded in death by a brother, Harold Jansen.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Sunday evening, from 5-9 p.m., and
Monday morning at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the time
of services.
