Wm. Raatz Dies when Health Seems to be Returning
A relapse which he suffered after apparent recovery from a three weeks illness
caused the death of William Raatz, a West Side man whose demise was sudden. Mr.
Raatz was an employe of the Manitowoc Malting Co. and was the first man to
start work of clearing the property which later became the site for the Malting
Co. plant. Mr. Raatz was 41 years of age and is survived by a widow and one
daughter Mabel. His aged parents reside at Mishicott, three brothers and two
sisters also survive. The funeral will be held from the late home Tuesday
