OLD RESIDENT OF CITY PASSES AWAY, AGEE 87
Mrs. Bertha Raatz, for more than two score years a resident of
Manitowoc, passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. Charles
Hummes, 1860 Michigan avenue, early today, aged 87 years. Mrs.
Raatz had been in failing health for several months and had gone
into gradual decline till death claimed her. She was a native of
Keenigberg, Germany, and came to American when 35 years of age,
locating in Manitowoc county. She is survived by one daughter,
Mrs. Hummes.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
