John C. Peterik, age 87, a Fieldcrest Manor resident since 1993, died Tuesday, February 27, 1996 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Private Services will be held on Friday, March 1, 1996 at Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. David Klutterman will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
John was born October 12, 1908 at Manitowoc, son of the late John and Christina Tikalsky Peterik. He grew up and was educated at Manitowoc, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1926. He was employed at Burger Boat Company for 47 years retiring as Purchase Agent in 1978. he married Majie L. Hoffmann September 1, 1928 at Waukegan, Ill. Majie preceded him in death January 10, 1980. John was a former member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 687.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy L. and Lawrence Zarnott, Berlin, Wis.; three grandchildren, Bonnie Lee and Michael Benes, Franklin, Wis., Jody Ann and Gary Fossum, Fitchburg, Wis., Lee William and Margaret Zarnott, Ripon, Wis.
