Harold M. Pelofske, age 74, of 2000 Clark St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday, May 25,
2004, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004, at St. Andrew
Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the mass of Christian Burial will be
the Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M. with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Harold was born Jan. 12, 1930, in Minnesota, son of the late Fred and Elsie Heaser
Pelofske. He was a graduate of Cromwell High School, class of 1948. Harold served
in the United States National Guard during the Korean Conflict. In October 1981,
he married the former Carol Newby in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death Feb. 5,
2001. Harold was a welder with the Manitowoc Company until his retirement in
1995.
Survivors include a son: Dennis Pelofske, Manitowoc; four daughters and two sons-
in-law: Debra Gallenberger, Valders; Kimberly and Dennis Brandes, Manitowoc; Cindy
and Tim Howard, Arizona; Tammy winkel, Nevada; 14 grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends. He was also preceded in death by a son: James Michael Pelofske; a
brother: Fred (Sonny) Pelofske; and a sister, Elaine Olson.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc,
from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the
family with funeral arrangements.
