Carol M. Pelofske, age 54, of 518 York St., Manitowoc, died Monday, February 5, 2001, at Aruora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2001, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Steven Segar with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Carol was born April 16, 1946, in Huntsville, Ala., daughter of the late Percy and Elizabeth Davis Newby. In October of 1981, she married Harold Pelofske in Manitowoc. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Pelofske, Manitowoc; five daughters, Lisa Augustine, Paris, Ark., Brenda Newby, Manitowoc, Linda Newby, Manitowoc, Tara Newby, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren, Kari, Robert, Mitchel, Sarah, Stephanie, Tevor, Miranda, and Tyler; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert and Jean Newby, Clarks Mills, Donald Wayne Newby, Manitowoc; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky and James Sutton, Paris, Ark., Janice and Leo Wolf, Gleason, Wis., Sandy and Brian Conard, Branch, Ark.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at 1 p.m.
