ELIZABETH PELISHEK
Mrs. William Pelishek, 68, of 857 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly
Friday evening at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The
Rev. Leo Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Pelishek, nee Elizabeth Opichka, was born May 25, 1902, in Town of
Cooperstown, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Vesely Opichka. She was
married to William Pelishek Nov. 18, 1919, at Kellnersville. They farmed
near Denmark until their retirement in 1948, when they came to Manitowoc.
Mrs. Pelishek was a member of the Christian Mothers and Altar Society, of
Holy Innocents Church. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in
November 1969.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Agnes) Shuber, of
Manitowoc; two sistes, Mrs. Otto Spevacek, of Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. John
Dvorachek, of Brillion; a grandson (Survivor omitted for privacy.), of
Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. A sister and three brothers preceded her
in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday until time of
services. A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday..
