Melnik-Brockville Notes:
Mrs. Joseph I. Pech, a resident of this place for many years, died
at the family home here early Tuesday morning, following an illness
of about four months due to a complication of diseases. Although her
death was expected it was a great shock to her many friends who
mourn her loss. She was a good neighbor, a loving wife and a kind
mother. She was 48 years off age and was married to her husband 27
years ago. Her maiden name was Mary Melvarsik. Her husband Joseph I.
Pech and two sons, Anton of Francis Creek and Adolph at home survive
her. The funeral was held on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from the
late home. Interment was at the Melnik Presbyterian Cemetery(sic).
The correspondent joins the many friends in extending their deepest s
ympathy to the afflicted family.
