September 21, 1990 at the Shady Lane Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Rev. James Barnes will officiate and burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born February 23, 1902 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late James W. and Ellen Mae Day Pech. She was a lifelong Manitowoc resident, attended Manitowoc Public Schools. Was a graduate of the old Washington High School. Miss Pech graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with a Degree in Early Childhood Education. She taught kindergarten in the Waukesha Public School System for 2 years, then moving to Manitowoc where she taught kindergarten in public schools for 47 years. She was active in church work and also taught Sunday school for 40 years. She was active in civic organizations, among them being the organization of the Manitowoc County Daycare Association Inc., the Manitowoc Garden Study Club and local state and national Teachers Associations. She retired from public school teaching in 1967.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Elaine Aamus of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-
law, Mrs. George Pech of Manitowoc, Mrs. Lawrence (Esther) Spitzer of San Jose, California; nine nieces and nephews; twenty great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, George and Allison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Paul United Methodist
Church or the Manitowoc Daycare Center. Visitation will be 10 am Monday morning at St. Paul United Methodist Church to the time of services. Pfeffer Funeral
