Miss Ella C. Pankratz, 82, died late Monday evening at Manitowoc County Hospital where she had been a resident 4 1/2 years. Funeral services will be at 3 pm Thursday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Miss Pankratz was born at Manitowoc, Dec. 6, 1878, daughter of the late George and Phillipena Seiler Pankratz. She attended Manitowoc schools and was graduated from Northside High School. She enrolled at Grafton Hall, Milwaukee and continued her music studies in New York City. Miss Pankratz returned to Manitowoc and taught piano for many years. She was a member of Monday Music Club.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Five sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 am Thursday.
