10:30 am Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald
Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Luchterhand, nee Irene Louella Koehler was born July 21, 1911 in
Manitowoc, daughter of the late Charles and Ida Helmuth Koehler. She was
married to Arthur S. Luchterhand, August 21, 1929 at Manitowoc. The
couple celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary in 1986. Mrs.
Luchterhand was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ and
was Past President and member of the Ladies Aid society of First
Reformed United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur; a son and daughter-in-law,
Charles (Skip) and Caroline Luchterhand of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs.
Edith Wegner of Manitowoc; two grandchildren, Scott Luchterhand and his
wife, Jane, Linda Kopetsky and her husband, Kent; a great grandson,
Tyler Kopetsky; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two
sisters, Elsie and Hattie.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 pm to 8 pm this
Friday and from 9 am Saturday until the time of services.
