Leonard B. LeClair, 76, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10:30
a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. A brother, the Rev. Claude
LeClair, and Rev. Donald Schneider will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. LeClair was born March 21, 1899, at Two Rivers, son of the late Nelson and
Theresa Colling LeClair. He married Lillian Fuka June 26, 1928, at Manitowoc.
They lived in Two Rivers until 1943 when they moved to their present address.
He had been employed at Schmidt Lumber Co. of Two Rivers and was also engaged
in farming. His hobbies were dog and pigeon raising.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Leo J., of Rt. 1, Cato; six brothers, Norbert,
of rural Two Rivers, John, Lawrence and Victor of Two Rivers, the Rev. Claude
LeClair, of New London and Dale, of Waukesha; five sisters, Miss Loreta LeClair
of Two Rivers, Mrs. J. J. (Dora) Defnet, of Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. Arthur
(Angeline) Kummerow and Miss Constance LeClair, of rural Two Rivers and Mrs.
Raymond (Mary) Schultz, of Wyandotte, Mich., and a grandson, John Paul LeClair.
A brother, Victor Sr., preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Fuenral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where a
wake memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m.
