Albert N. Lambries, 64, of 417 New York Ave., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home and at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Cyril Van Heeswyk will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Lambries was born Feb. 9, 1908, at Manitowoc, son of the late Adam and
Elizabeth Holter Lambries. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc,
with the Class of 1926. He married Jean Schmidtman Aug. 1, 1929, at Chicago.
The couple resided in Manitowoc. He was vice president and secretary of the
Schmidtman Co., Manitowoc.
He was a member of United Commercial Travelers, Manitowoc County Republican Party,
Optimist Club, Manitowoc-Two Rivers Chamber of Commerce, a corporate member of
Memorial Hospital, National Association of Credit Managers, Fraternal Order of
Eagles, Aerie 706, Elks Lodge No. 687 and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Albert T., of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a brother,
Adam, of St. Nazianz; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Clara) Keil and Mrs. Edward (Grace)
Wickert, of Manitowoc and two grandchildren, Denise and Jeff.
Friends may call at the funeral home, State Street entrance, after 3 p.m. Friday
where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorials be made to the Heart
Fund, Holy Family Hospital or Memorial Hospital.
